Description DRESS, MACHINE & HAND STITCHED. A=BODICE: LINED IN LINEN. �FITTED, CENTER OPENING WITH LONG, POINTED END ON BACK. STAND-UP �COLLAR WITH ADDITION OF GATHERED GROSGRAIN RIBBON. ENDS OF �SLEEVES HAVE BEEN TURNED IN TO CHANGE STYLE & THE GATHERED, �GROSGRAIN RIBBON HAS BEEN ADDED AT THAT TIME. B=SKIRT; A-SHAPED �SKIRT WITH FLAT FRONT & SIDES & GATHERED AT WAIST OVER 'BUSTLE' �AREA. COTTON WAISTBAND WITH A BUTTON CLOSURE. FRONT HAS PANEL OF� HORIZONTALLY GATHERED SILK, 5 COLUMNS WIDE (AUSTRIAN VALANCE �STYLE). BOTTOM OF SIDES HAS SAME DESIGN 16" FROM HEM & THERE ARE �5" HIGH CARTRIDGE PLEATS WITH SILK LINING & TWILL TAPE PIPING �AT HEM. LARGE AREA OF SKIRT BACK IS MADE OF LINEN (THE PANEL �MEANT TO GO OVER THIS SECTION IS CURRENTLY MISSING.)
